A guest scans the code on the table, reads your menu on their own phone, and sends an order. Nothing to download, nothing installed. You stay in control, because an order from a table is a request until a human accepts it.
Printing the tents
Go to Tables then QR codes. Every table gets a printable card showing your shop name, "Scan to order", the QR code and the table name, previewed on a standing A-frame so you can see what you are about to print. Print, cut, fold, done.
Each code is tied to one table, which is how the order arrives already labelled with where it came from.
What the guest sees
Your live menu, with photos, sizes and the questions you set up, exactly as the counter sees it. They choose items, pick sizes, answer the spice question, add a note, give a name and send the order.
What you see
A waiting list sits at the top of the orders screen, refreshing on its own, with the table, the guest name, each line with its size, options and notes, and the total. You either:
- Accept, which adds the lines to that table bill like any other order, or
- Decline, with a reason, when an item is finished or the table is wrong.
Accepted lines carry a QR tag on the bill, so at any point you can see what the guest ordered themselves and what a waiter added.
Why the accept step
Because the kitchen should never start cooking on an unchecked phone order. A table can also only send one order every twenty seconds, which keeps a bored child from sending forty momos.
Plan
Guest ordering is part of online ordering, which starts at the Pro plan.
